Is it possible to create zones?<\/h3>\r\n      <div class=\"content-wrapper\">\r\n\r\n        <p>Using an RTP multicast, any number and combination of Algo speakers can activate simultaneously to broadcast a voice page announcement. There is no limit to the number and combination of endpoints configured a multicast. The Algo paging system can be easily scaled to cover any size room, building, campus or enterprise environment. All Algo IP speakers, paging adapters and strobe lights can be configured for multicast, where the device is designated as a Sender or Receiver. Generally, only the endpoint designated as the Sender is registered to the telephone system. Receivers do not require SIP registration, unless they will also be used for talkback.<\/p>\n<p>Through RTP multicast, 50 zones are supported.<\/p>\n\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <\/div>\r\n        <div class=\"item\">\r\n\r\n      <h3>Can I page Algo speakers and IP phones at the same time?<\/h3>\r\n      <div class=\"content-wrapper\">\r\n\r\n        <p>The easiest and most flexible way to do so is through multicast. Most Poly and Yealink phones support multicast, among others.<\/p>\n\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n    <\/div>\r\n        <div class=\"item\">\r\n\r\n      <h3>Can I deploy Algo IP Endpoints on my Teams phone system?<\/h3>\r\n      <div class=\"content-wrapper\">\r\n\r\n        <p>Algo IP Endpoints are certified for native compatibility with the Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway, accommodating dozens of different applications, from IP paging to emergency alerting, and hands-free visitor communication \u2013 all natively compatible in Microsoft Teams. Additionally, Algo endpoints may also be registered to Microsoft Teams using a compatible Session Border Controller.<\/p>\n<p>Registering Algo IP Endpoints to the Teams SIP Gateway is a quick and straightforward process (see the <a href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Microsoft Teams Configuration Guide<\/span><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In order to deploy an Algo device in the SIP Gateway, the following requirements must be met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Algo IP Endpoint must be running Algo FW v5.3.2 or higher<\/li>\n<li>A Microsoft Teams license must be available in the Teams Admin Center. Typically this would be a Shared Device License, although it may instead be associated with a full user license. Direct Inward Dialing (DID) must be associated with the license.<\/li>\n<li>The Microsoft Teams production environment must support Algo devices \u2013 public preview is available in mid-April 2023, making this feature available to all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In most applications, only a small number of Algo IP Endpoints will require SIP registration to Microsoft Teams \u2013 sometimes as few as a single device. Leveraging multicast, Algo IP endpoints can scale the solution to any number and combination of endpoints, without requiring each endpoint to be registered to Microsoft Teams. If it&#8217;s getting the default IP, there&#8217;s something going wrong with the DHCP offer or LLDP. Connect the Algo endpoint to a PoE injector or isolated switch to access it on its default IP of 192.168.1.111.
